Kari Belevender
Kari hails from Pacific Northwest (Seattle). Kari is deaf. Her husband Jeff is also deaf. They have 2 boys, Jaxon (16) and Kevon (13). They currently have 4 goats, 4 cats and 2 dogs ( 2 Rescue dogs). She recently added chickens and ducks to the farm.
Kari has had passion and love for animals, since she was a little girl. Her grandparents lived on a hobby farm (horses, cows, cats and dog). Her grandma would always take her to her friend’s houses to see new arrivals or visit animals.
She started fostering for two rescues for the past few years. She and a neighbor saw a need for a blind horse rescue, and decided to start HOC Rose Sanctuary Rescue. HOC Rose Sanctuary Rescue is located on their 10 acres hobby farm.
Her hobbies are swimming, volleyball, biking, horseback riding, fishing, and taking her dogs for walks.
