Kari Belevender 

Kari hails from Pacific Northwest (Seattle). Kari is deaf. Her husband Jeff is also deaf. They have 2 boys, Jaxon (16) and Kevon (13). They currently have 4 goats, 4 cats and 2 dogs ( 2 Rescue dogs). She recently added chickens and ducks to the farm.

Kari has had passion and love for animals, since she was a little girl. Her grandparents lived on a hobby farm (horses, cows, cats and dog).  Her grandma would always take her to her friend’s houses to see new arrivals or visit animals. 

She started fostering for two rescues for the past few years. She and a neighbor saw a need for a blind horse rescue, and decided to start HOC Rose Sanctuary Rescue.  HOC Rose Sanctuary Rescue is located on their 10 acres hobby farm.

Her hobbies are swimming, volleyball, biking, horseback riding, fishing, and taking her dogs for walks. 

Signe Reistad

Signe has been heavily involved with rescues for the past few years. Signe is a private music teacher out of Isanti, MN.  When Signe is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three cats, and her horse Hugo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Teresa Domagalski

Teresa has enjoyed volunteering with other animal rescues, before sitting on the board with HOC Rose Sanctuary Rescue.  Teresa grew up around animals, visiting her grandparent's farm, feeding animals, and riding a horse and donkey that belonged to her aunt. Teresa currently has 2 dogs and 3 cats. Her hobbies are scrapbook, browsing Pinterest, and learning how to be a green thumb in the garden, like her mom.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Julie Hausner Bauch

Julie assists with coordinating volunteer intern students of American Sign Language in interpreting at board meetings, trainings, and events.  Julie has two dogs at home and grew up riding horses with friends and family.  She been involved with other animal rescue groups as a foster.  She is glad to be back in the saddle again with HOC Rose Sanctuary Rescue.
